UI/UX design for a science academy (3 to 8-year-olds)

Kide Science helps kids get excited about the natural sciences through play-based learning

The project aim was to create a digital platform that would serve the same outcomes as the client's physical science clubs. It was fun having to think from a child's perspective who would be the target audience for the app.

Kide Science's pedagogical methods are based on rigorous academic research conducted at the University of Helsinki, Finland. The pedagogical approach is supervised by Jenni Vartiainen, who is a leading researcher in the field of play-based science education.

Children get to explore the wonders of the world around them by exploring, experimenting and observing.
